Good Dog Agility November  3 & 4 Trial Information 

 

Trial location: This trial is being held at Benedict Park in Tempe. It is on the Northwest corner of Guadalupe and Kyrene Rds. There is little to no shade so be sure to bring your own.
 
Friday Setup and Check-In: You may set up on Friday starting at 2 PM.  PLEASE do not set up if the rings have not been constructed.  If you are there prior to ring construction, we will be more than happy to have your help in setting up the rings. Check-in (no measuring) will begin at 4 PM on Friday and go until 6 PM.
 
Saturday/Sunday Check-In/Measure-In: Check-in/Measure-in will begin at 6:45 AM Saturday morning and run until 7:30.  On Sunday, it will start at 7 AM and go until 7:30.  If you have sent me a copy of your PERMANENT height card (not the blue temporary card) you can skip check in.
 
Start time: Both rings will start walkthroughs at 7:45 AM on Saturday, with first dog online at 8 AM.  On Sunday, walkthroughs for ring 2 only (Steeplechase Round 2) will begin at 7:15 AM, with first dog on line at 7:30 AM.  Ring 1 will start upon completion of Steeplechase ~ 8 - 8:15 AM.
 
Food Vendor: Nakia will be onsite serving her wide variety of Greek food, hamburgers and other stuff.
 
RV Parking: THERE IS NO OVERNIGHT RV PARKING!  This is a new mandate by the City of Tempe.  You may still park overnight at local Walmarts (the closest is at 1380 W Elliot Rd, which is about 2 miles from the show site) or you can park at a local RV park.  A couple RV parks include Shady Grove Mobile and RV Park (480-962-4209) and Hacienda Solano RV Park (480-963-3477).  These parks are untested, so be sure to let us know your experience should you use one of them.  
 
Next Day Move-ups: Next day move-ups are allowed at this event.  If you earn a Q that moves you up to the next level on Sat., AND you are entered in the class at the lower level on Sun., you can move up to the next level on Sunday (email me at rysaroni@cox.net if you don't understand what I've just typed!).  You will need to fill out a form (located at the scoretable) prior to leaving the event on Saturday.  NO move-ups will be done Sunday morning.
 
The running order will be posted on this website no later than Wednesday. Running orders will not be available at the show so be sure to print it out if you want it.
